Finish carpentry is where a project's quality becomes visible. We install baseboards, crown molding, casing, wainscot, cabinets, doors, and custom millwork — in both paint-grade and stain-grade wood — for residential and commercial clients.
Honest information about how we work, what's included, and what it costs. No surprises.
We install baseboard, door casing, window casing, crown molding, chair rail, wainscoting, picture rail, and skirt boards. Both paint-grade (MDF or finger-jointed pine) and stain-grade (solid wood) materials. We cut, cope, and install everything in-house — no pre-packaged trim crews who rush through joints. Tight miters, clean copes, and proper nailing patterns are our standard.
We install interior and exterior doors — prehung and slab — including fitting, shimming, hardware installation, and weatherstripping. We also install windows and the surrounding trim package. Both paint-grade and stain-grade. We repair and adjust existing doors that bind, don't latch, or have settled frames.
We install pre-manufactured cabinets (kitchen, bath, garage, laundry) and coordinate with custom cabinet shops for built-in millwork. We don't fabricate custom cabinets in-shop, but we work with your cabinetmaker to ensure the install is plumb, level, and tight. We also build built-in bookcases, entertainment centers, mudroom lockers, and custom wainscot panels on-site.
Elias Berkshire-Anderson started in finish carpentry and millwork over two decades ago before expanding into general contracting. Finish carpentry is still the trade he knows most deeply — which means real quality oversight, not just supervision of a crew he's never worked alongside.
